Leading City law firms boosted partner pay by 9% on average in the latest financial year, according to aFinancial Newsanalysis of annual results from 11 UK-headquartered legal businesses.

The mean revenue increase at the 11 law firms was 7%. Most of the firms closed their financial year at the end of April and posted the results during the summer.
